O'Brien, originally from Zimbabwe, now resides in Cape Town where he balances his job as a waiter with studying IT and network engineering. Adapting to a new culture and language was a significant challenge upon moving, demanding a complete personal reinvention. His aspirations have evolved from art to opening a creative shop in the hospitality industry. Success for O'Brien is about progress and self-improvement rather than material wealth.
